NUTRITION MONTH CULMINATING ACTIVITIES

The main goal of this campaign is to get Filipinos to realize how important it is to eat more vegetables to prevent micronutrient deficiencies and noncommunicable diseases like diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.

"Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain!"

The end of NUTRITION MONTH was marked by a wide variety of events, many of which included the participation of parents. The goal of the activity is to get families to eat more vegetables and grow backyard gardens so that they can not only meet their daily food needs but also make more money by selling extra garden goods.

Among the other activities is a POSTER MAKING CONTEST.

The second event was THE NUTRITION JINGLE CONTEST, which was won by Chelsea's group. They came in first position in this division.

The search for the A1 Child comes in third.

What exactly is the A1 CHILD? Seeking a youngster who is exceptional in some manner and fits the description of something or someone that is in first-class condition or superb condition. During the month when we honor nutrition, they are looking for a youngster that is healthy and balanced in their diet.

And this time, for the third time, it was my Mikaela who got it.

Both the students and the parents had a great time participating in the activities. In addition to that, we teach our children how to make LAW'UY (Visayan Healthy Soup) and FRUIT SALAD.

These activities will revolve around the theme that aims to promote the consumption of vegetables contained in the fifth Nutritional Guidelines for Filipinos in order to prevent and eliminate deficiencies in vitamin A and iron in the Filipino diet. This theme was chosen because the fifth Nutritional Guidelines for Filipinos were released in 2015. In the same vein, it encourages the practice of consuming at least three servings of vegetables on a daily basis.

After finishing our meal, we made our way once more to the GYM in order to watch The Search for the Best Nutrition Month Costume.

A very busy schedule for both me and my children, but despite how exhausted we are, we all had a great time.

Good work, ladies; you make me PROUD of you.

In accordance with Presidential Decree 491, the month of July has been designated as Nutrition Month.

Animated video of ‘Lupang Hinirang’ released

In contrast to the typical "Lupang Hinirang" videos aired on television, which typically feature actors or politicians, this film is a breath of fresh air.

Rock Ed Radio and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines made a new music video for the national anthem of the Philippines. It has animated characters.

Arnold Arre directed and animated the 1 minute and 38 second video featuring the Radioactive Sago's performance of "Lupang Hinirang."

The purpose of the animated movie, according to Gang Badoy-Capati, founder and executive director of Rock Ed Philippines, is to give gratitude to all Filipinos who worked hard to make the Philippines "as free as it is now."

June 12, marks the 114th anniversary of the nation's declaration of independence.

According to what Badoy-Capati said in an interview with ANC, "I think it's about time that we have new pictures of the Philippines." "The use of animation can turn an otherwise mundane experience into an exciting one."

She also talked about one of the many life lessons that people of all ages, even babies, can learn from watching the video.  According to what she said, "we wanted to convey that anything may develop from the sacrifice of someone else." "I thinkAraw ng Kalayaan is actually about it."

Take a look at the completely new animated music video for "Lupang Hinirang," which can be seen here.
